Data, Analytics & Decision Intelligence

We help leadership teams improve decision quality by aligning data, analytics, and organizational
behavior. Data is not the service. Judgment is.

What do we do?

We help leadership teams improve decision quality by understanding their own data.

We reconcile numbers to their ultimate sources. We establish the Data Tree to identify exactly how a company functions. Our goal is not more reporting; it is to uncover often status-quo-unfriendly truths so the client can start solving the real problems.

We equip the client with a data mirror of its activity to see if the perception of how they run the company is reflected by facts.

Core Focus Areas

- Mapping the Data Tree: No summaries; we verify the root of every number back to the source.
- Legacy Models Overhaul: Matching the math to operational reality.
- Tail Analysis: Finding the edge cases that break the system or make the profits.
- Structural Data Segmentation

Case in Point:

Benchmarking turned into a Value Recovery

The Situation: A client engaged us to benchmark their performance. On paper, they had "granular" reporting. In practice, their data was lumped into broad categories that obscured the true drivers of the business.

The Intervention: We bypassed the management reports and rebuilt the metrics from raw, foundational transactions. Instead of accepting their existing data buckets, we applied our proprietary methods and regrouped the business by inherent data nature and complexity. External data was mapped from actual comparables, not generic peer sets.

As a by-product of the benchmarking exercise, we found that while they claimed to adjust for risk, they
were not doing it systematically. This "we’ll figure it out later" attitude had hardened into a systemic error: different risk-and-reward profiles were ignored.

The Result: We restructured the benchmarking process for the entire organization. Our findings provided the framework for evaluating projects based on actual risk profiles, which led to immediate restructuring initiatives and higher Economic Value Add (EVA) for the company.

The Bottom Line: Failures often happen because of a lack of discipline to trace the decision logic to the source. If you don't know where each number came from – you are just managing a guesswork.
